After eating about 4 helpings of the breakfast Abbey made, Duo and the others went on their way. Before they could leave, Abbey smiled and pointed a stern finger at them. “Now, you guys, we need to report here around 7:00 okay? We have to call a meeting, we have work to do!” With a cheery smile, Abbey turned to finish the dishes. In about two seconds the boys were out the door. Cleaning dishes and listening to Abbey’s dumb jokes wasn’t on any of their agendas. Quatre and Doris ran off to the computer lab, Heero disappeared in his room *again* and Duo hit the bath house, taking his usual hour or two preparing for the day. After that, he walked out the school’s main door, waving and shouting “hello” out to just about each and every group of girls that walked by. The fact that their mission was almost over made him frown, and turn around to look back on the school. For the first time, I don’t want this to end. I don’t really want to say good bye to this weird town. He gave a reassuring “Hmmmmm” and continued walking to the middle of town. He walked by a bus stop and noticed a large sign. “Tatalia’s Auto. That’s the one with the all-girl crew. Well....” Duo smirked and strutted down the sidewalk. I heard that the owner of that place was the best in the business...AND it’s totally ran by females. I just want to see if they are for real, see how they work, that’s all. If they’re good enough, I’d be more than willing to let them work on the ‘Scythe. That’d be way cool!
There was a increase of people in the streets, and a wave of commotion came from near by. Must be something going on...wonder what it is. He pulled the bill of his hat down over his eyes, and pushed his way through the crowd. The people of the town were talking amongst them selves, pointing at the OZ soldier walking up to them. Hey! That’s Vince! What is he doing in a OZ uniform? Duo was about to walk up to great him when he caught a glimpse of Hayley. He hesitated, and backed up into the crowd. No way! Not with THAT bitch goddess around. I can’t believe Mina let her live. Hayley was holding a stack of wanted posters under her arm as she stormed over to Vince, nearly running over a little girl. “Watch out, you little brat!” She growled and stapled one of the posters on a telephone pole. Hayley spun around to face the crowd and pasted on one of those “I’m so sweet and innocent” smiles. “Have you kind people seen this boy? If so, please report him to our headquarters. Thank you.” With that, the two walked on, posting and arguing about the whole situation.
The group of townspeople seemed to drift off, leaving Duo staring at the piece of paper. That’s ....Wufei! I haven’t seen him around for a long time. How did he get here? Well, if I see him around I’ll tell him. I wonder how Mina is...She seemed to disappear this morning. She wasn’t even eating breakfast with us. Weird...

| Mina and the other girls were laughing at one of the many jokes made by Tatalia about the superiority of females over males. The room in the large auto shop was filled with girls, all black and white clad, huddled around a pot of disgustingly old coffee. The owner, Tatalia, smiled and watered the plant near the window. “Now girls, we have TONS of butt-busting work to do today! There’s a classic coming in at 10 and a *real* piece of scrap coming in at 11.” All of the girls in the area laugh and grab their hats. After a loud cheer, “Let’s go! Yeah!!” they place the plain hats on their heads. “Mina, are you through scrapping that Gundam we *wink* received the other day?” Mina stuffed a piece of the blueberry muffin in her mouth and nodded. “Yes um’. I’ve been on it for a couple of hours.” She walked to the back of the shop, zig-zagging through the working girls. Tatalia smiled and walked after her. “Is it one that your parents helped make?” she said as she caught up to Mina. |

| With a sharp glare, Mina sighed and wiped the grease from her nose. How in the hell did that get there? Oh yeah, the Chevy I worked on this morning. Parents? They were NOT my parents. Get it straight, lady.... “Guardians, they were my guardians. And, yes it is...I’m sure of it.” She smiled and picked the hat out of her back pocket. Her hair wasn’t in it’s usual braid, but combed back and held up with a single screwdriver. She was in too much of a hurry to come in this morning to be TOO creative, so she just grabbed the closest thing. It’s not her fault it just so happened to be Duo’s tool, I’ll give it back when I go home. If I can keep the fact that I’m working a secret, then I’m sure I can replace this thing before her notices it was missing. How and why in the hell did he leave it on the kitchen sink? She pulled it out, letting the wild strands of hair take their places down her back. “I do have to cut work early, so...I’d better finish this up.” Mina adjusted her hat on top her head, and winked. “Remember, if anyone comes here looking for *ahem* parts, they’ll have to ask me first.” With a wink, Mina turns her back to her boss and begins to scrap the gundam. |

| The immense neon sign caught the pilot’s attention as he was bouncing down the street. Tatalia’s Auto Shop: “If we can’t fix it.....you suck.” astonished by the sign, Duo laughed to himself and set a hand on the doorhandle. A crowd of girls came rushing out, almost knocking the great destroyer on his butt. Their uniforms were basic, black and white, some where cut into shorts, the others were long, draping over their shoes. “Watch out!” One of them yelled, she pushed him out of the way. “Tata’s going to loose it!” Baffled, Duo stopped the rest of the herd. “Now what in hell is going on?”A girl holding a wrench answered. “OZ soldiers are in there, trying to close the shop. For about the *billionth* time! Are you a customer?” A bombardment of yelling and pounds were heard on the other side of the door, bringing on gasps of shock from the girls. |

| “I TOLD you asses I didn’t know where the stupid mechas’ are so get the hell out!” A short girl with semi curly blonde hair shoved the soldier in charge. “What did I just-“ A sharp pain went through her mouth after the closest one belted her right across the face. “Shut the hell up. Now....I’m going to ask you one more time-“ The door behind her opened with a start and Mina took one step out and hurtled a hammer, hitting her target right in the head. He fell to the floor in a heap, blood oozing out of the wound. “Get your hands off her!” She shouted, as she jumped in the air, booting another uniform-clad boy.”Tatalia!” Mina fell to her knees and collected her fallen friend. ”You alright?” Nodding, Tatalia strained to get up. “Yeah kid. Thanks. Now go teach those jerks a lesson. I’ll be out back.” The other soldiers pulled out their firearms. “Now listen, you bitch! You’re going to regret you ever did that!” He took a couple steps over to the kneeling girl and pulled off her black hat, allowing her hair fall down to the floor. “So pretty. Too bad you have to die...” Her maroon eyes burned into his as she spoke. “You’re too cocky. I don’t understand how you get off over hurting innocent civilians, but-“ The taste of blood came to her mouth as the soldier backhanded her. Anger built up in her as she wiped it away. “I’m going to enjoy kicking your ass all over this joint.” With a abrupt snap of her wrist, he was on the floor, obscenity spilling out of his mouth. The rest of the fighters were already acting, throwing punches and firing. Mina avoided most of them, knocking out the few soldiers remaining. The one she fought with first rose as she had her back to him. “Now you will die.” Spinning her around, he clenched his fingers around her neck and pointed the cold barrel of the gun right to her forehead. |

| Gunshots.....I just heard gunshots. Duo charged through the door just in time to see Mina get shot in the shoulder. She let out a scream of pain as her blood trickled down her side.”Ah....D-Duo.” With a growl, the soldier threw her to the side, her limp body crumpling to the floor. What a cheap shot. No....how did Duo get here? ”Duo! You’re not in this!” Mina’s yell bounced off the walls while she grunted and attempted to regain her stance. A few grunts of pain came through her gritted teeth. “Leave....just go!” |

| “In case you were wondering, you are a little out of order at the moment, so just stand back and I’ll handle this!” Duo ran at the boy, knocking him off his feet. “Hitting a girl....what the hell were you thinking?” After punching him in the stomach, Mina somehow made it there just in time to pull Duo off him. “Duo, they called for reinforcements.” She helped him up and after running back to the boy on the floor and kicking him in the groin, the two went out the back door. |

| “Hey Mina? Why were you....what were you doing back there?” Duo stopped her from running and turned her face to him. “Were you trying to get yourself killed? Next time you feel like starting fights with OZ tell me, so I can kick the crap out of you!” His anger and frustration was showing, and he didn’t seem to want to hide it. “What were you thinking?” The look on Mina’s face changed and she let out an exasperated sigh. Why is he always yellin at me? This kid is always being rude to me! With a hurried movement of her wrist, she held the infuriated hand of Duo. “I have my reasons....Let me be!” Her arm was still bleeding, her actions were as if it weren’t even there. “Can’t a girl have a job around you? Sheesh! I figured you were too pig-headed to figure out why I was gone every morning......I WORKED THERE! I’m the mecha specialist! It’s MY fault Tatalia was hurt, and I’m going to make it up to her.” Mina grunted as she slammed Duo up against the building, her eyes filled with tears. “Enough talk.....” She pushed off and averted her back to him. “Now are you going to go back to school with me? Cause if you’re not-“ “I’d go only if you ask...” Duo crossed his arms in front of him and exclaimed. The utter shock of being thrown into a wall by a girl was still there, but he quickly covered it up with a grin. As though no one was there, Mina walked off down the alleyway. Tough shit, kid. No way am I going to beg you, I can go by myself. Duo took a step after her and opened his mouth to object. “H-hey! I was just pullin’ your leg! I’ll go!” Mina’s walking figure stopped and grinned. I knew he’d say that...... “Fine, let’s go!” |

| Meanwhile at the school, Sean and Noah are in the computer lab. It was completely empty, which gave Sean the opportunity to go on a hacking spree. The keypad was clicking loudly, Sean’s eyes darting back and forth on the screen. The school’s web site wasn’t looking good enough to him. “Hey Noah, wanna b+ in Geometry? I can do it! Watch!” After changing all of the grades, he was about to sign off when a little symbol appeared in the corner of the screen. “Holy shit, what’s that?” He clicked on it and words came up on the screen. Noah stopped playing Baldur’s Gate (Which he borrowed form Doris) and looked at Sean’s screen. “OZ. Why does that sound so familiar?” |

| Sean was still reading- absorbing every word that came on the screen. This information would be helpful to Mina, but she’s not here. I could take this to Heero. He read it again and his eyes got bigger. “Mizu-iwa high school- the town’s main OZ base?! What in the hell?” Noah was trying to read it over his shoulder when Hayley walked through the door. “Just what do you think you’re doing?!” She pulled out a gun and pointed it at Sean. “Now see what you’ve done? Now I’ll just have to call the soldiers in earlier!” Her eyes narrowed and her finger tightened around the trigger. Looks like I got another of the fools that care for Mina. How many is that now? Hmmmmm. “Sean...wasn’t it? Well Sean, any last words? I will enjoy this just as much as I will when Mina is in the same situation.”She snickered. “No!” Noah picked up a chair and threw it at her, knocking her and the gun to the floor. “Let’s run for it, Sean!” The two pushed out the door and ran down the hall. |

| Fools. Hope they like this! Hayley struggles to get up and walks to the computer Sean was on. She pulled out her cell phone and dialed. While she was working on the computer she talked to Vince. “Hey, it’s me. Well, we’re found out. Yes, that’s what I said. I don’t really care about the town’s needs, don’t start with that now. Proceed with operation Mizu-iwa. Bring the suits and soldiers here- now! Did you hear me, I said NOW! That was an order!! I’ll be getting rid of that little brat, Mina... Bye.” |

| The school’s festival was starting out side when the soldiers came. Sean and Noah on the other hand were in Heero’s room, telling him about they saw. “Heero, they are planning to attack the base- I mean school! Our principal, is really the head of this base...Mr Hill, I think. But, Hayley’s plan is to take over this base and regain power over the whole town! We can’t let this happen! They’ll be here soon!” Sean tried to catch his breath, leaning up against his desk. Heero was already up and looking out the window. “Sean. You, Noah, and Abbey try to find Duo and Mina. I’ll go out and stop the oncoming suits.” They were out the door in no time, running to the front of the school. |

| The sound of fighting suits down the way hurried Mina and Duo’s running. “What the hell is that?!” They came to the schools’ front gates and were shocked by what they saw. The festival was ruined, the kids were gathered at the side of the building and Duo noticed Heero was already fighting the mobile suits. “We have to get in there!!” Duo yelled. |

| “Wait!” Yelling from behind them startled Mina, who held up her fists to fight. Quatre and Doris came up the hill, gasping for breath. |
